Wave’s phenomenal growth continues with 4 new team members in Q2

by in Agency Life

Wave has had an incredible journey over the past two years. We, like many businesses, were hit hard during the worst of the pandemic. However, as companies started hiring again at a ferocious pace, demand for our products skyrocketed and we have experienced 18 months of unprecedented growth. As a result, we have been growing our team and are delighted to have welcomed several new team members into the Wave fold.

Our priority as we grow is to constantly push our products so that we are always ahead of the curve when it comes to providing our clients with the most advanced ways to attract talented candidates to their agencies. Far from becoming complacent, the Dev Team is constantly innovating and we have huge plans for all of our products. Alongside that, it is vital to us that we continue to offer the unparalleled service our clients have rightly come to expect from us. We have therefore invested heavily in the area that makes all of this possible – our people.

In order to continue to ensure we are sharing all we do with our clients, Chris Ash has joined us as Marketing Executive. An integral part of our busy Marketing Department, Chris’ overriding role is to extend our reach and provide exceptional comms to our clients through emails, socials and events.

Our focus on constantly developing our products and maintaining their industry-leading performance means we are thrilled to have Jessica Asante join us as Wave’s new Product Manager. She takes a key role in the full lifecycle of all Wave’s products, ensuring that our products continue to improve the candidate attraction strategies of recruitment agencies and help make recruiters’ jobs easier.

The Devs Team has also grown, welcoming two new members to ensure our tech continues to excel at helping recruiters to attract talented candidates to their agencies. Lauris Brants joins as WordPress Developer, building world-class recruitment websites as part of our RecWebs Team. Klāvs Verners is our new WordPress Support Engineer, working closely with our amazing Devs and Support teams to ensure Wave remains unrivalled when it comes to our service and support. Both Developers bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to Wave, further strengthening our talented tech team.

As well as our four newest starters, within the past year we have welcomed to the team a new Web Designer (the hugely creative Elizabeth Bennett), a dedicated Media Strategist (the incomparable Ruby Moss), a Media Support (the always helpful Merci Resullar), and a Client Engagement Manager (the wonderful Nick Weaver).

And of course we have our incredible existing team who have been through it all, from the hardest months of the pandemic, to the super-busy post-lockdown months, to this exciting period of growth. To acknowledge that and reflect the growth Wave is experiencing, we are offering all Wave employees extra holiday entitlement and an increase to the pension contributions from the company (or a bonus for our overseas employees). We experienced our best year ever in 2021-2022, just a year after COVID-19 rocked the world, and we couldn’t have done any of it without our amazing people. That deserves to be recognised and rewarded.

It’s an incredibly exciting time here at Wave. We have so much in the pipeline and we can’t wait to share it with you as we forge ahead in our quest to help our clients attract talented candidates to their agencies and create a world where talent is never missed.
