Wave’s approach was to carefully balance Strive’s bold branding with subtle design elements that enhanced usability:

  • Design and Branding: Recognising the strength of Strive’s branding, we used their brightly coloured shapes sparingly, incorporating them as a subtle background pattern throughout the site. This approach maintained the brand’s impact without overwhelming the user. To add a dynamic element, we created a video for the hero section, where the shapes from the logo animate and come together, setting the tone for the site.
  • User Experience: Our primary focus was on the user journey. The website was designed to make it easy for candidates to interact with Strive—whether they wanted to apply for jobs, register their CVs, or reach out directly. Subtle entrance animations were introduced as users scroll, bringing content into view and adding an engaging, interactive layer to the experience.
  • Functionality: The job search feature was prominently placed as the primary CTA, ensuring that candidates could quickly access and navigate job opportunities. The overall design and layout were tailored to support a smooth, intuitive experience, aligning with Strive’s goal of a simple yet impactful website.
